The Nexgem International Cup (NIC) is a premier youth academy football tournament where emerging elite football talents are on showcase whilst playing competitive 11 v 11. The event is a blend of international football, live entertainment, family games, raffle and food galore all weekend. Starting from  12th – 14th December 2025, at the Dwight Yorke Stadium on the beautiful island of Tobago, the tournament features teams from England, Brazil, Sweden, USA, Caribbean etc and comprises of two age groups: BU-16s and BU-20s.

This is a total football festivity, blending – sports, tourism, culture, social exchange and cuisines, where young players get the opportunity to make international friends, experience different playing styles and represent their country or club on a global stage.

Football fans will witness live, the energy of England’s precision, Brazil’s flair, Sweden’s discipline, the USA’s intensity, and the Caribbean’s cool spirit — all colliding under the Tobago sun. Ten academies from around the world will battle it. The fixture list includes, Santos FC, Djurgaden IF, Central Brooklyn, Wimbledon and more.

There will be lots of games and a special raffle draw for fans to get involved and feel part of this unique event. Sports fans and football enthusiasts, this is the biggest event of 2025 which you cannot afford to miss.
